FraudStop™ 360 Program
The most comprehensive program available.

Prevention: Leading-edge technologies help prevent identity thieves from stealing your identity or that of any member of your family. You probably don't even realize that your children are particularly vulnerable. We provide you with personal advice on things that you can do in your daily life to reduce your chances of ID theft.

• Watching for signs of theft.
We constantly search databases (over 1,500 of them) to detect suspicious activity in your financial life - credit, loans and the like - as well as others areas where your identity is vulnerable, such as public records and consumer accounts. It is in this way that FraudStop is vigilant in watching out for your identity.

• What we look for.
Our systems check each of these databases looking for activity that we have determined can lead to identity theft. We look for changes and activities in your existing accounts and we look for new accounts and transactions in your name. By doing this, we can detect someone's attempt to steal your identity before it gets too far and often before any damage has been done.

• How we protect your whole identity.
We do look for indicators of financial fraud that can be detected in your credit records. But we go much farther than this. We also search public records which can identify someone using your name to gain employment or rent an apartment. We also monitor other data sources that can find consumer accounts in your name such as utilities, cell phones, and the like.

Recovery: If you fall victim to identity theft, you will be paired with your own personal recovery advocate from our team of professionals. He or she will work with you throughout the process, answering your questions, contacting creditors and agencies on your behalf, and doing anything needed to fix this complex and difficult problem.

• Assessment & immediate actions.
When you contact us, a member of our expert recovery team will thoroughly assess your situation, so that we can determine if you're a victim and the extent of your identity theft. If you are in fact a victim, we open a case file and you are assigned your personal recovery advocate. This experienced person will ask you to provide your personal information and to sign a document that allows us to work on your behalf with financial institutions and law enforcement agencies. They also instruct you on how to file a police report. We typically will then review your credit reports and other information relevant to your identity theft situation such as financial statements in order to assess next steps.

• Negotiation with institutions.
We will then begin contacting creditors, banks, lending institutions, criminal agencies, debt collection agencies and others to explain the facts of the situation and to begin their process for disputing and resolving fraudulent transactions or other identity theft issues. Depending on the nature and complexity of your particular identity theft, this process can take anywhere from days to months. Our recovery advocates are experts at this and work every day with these institutions. That is why we have maintained our 100% success rate in restoring our members to pre-identity theft status.

• The road ahead.
Once your identity theft recovery is complete, we talk with you about moving ahead before closing your case file. We give you advice on how best to prevent identity theft in the future, as well as things that you should do to watch out for identity theft. Unfortunately, victims of identity theft have a higher rate of it reoccurring than people that have never fallen victim. So it is essential that you maintain your ID Experts FraudStop membership both to reduce the chances of reoccurrence as well as to handle any additional theft events that might occur, despite all of our best efforts.

Insurance: Identity theft reimbursement insurance is in partnership with national insurer AIG, an established provider of identity theft coverage. This insurance covers your "out-of-pocket" expenses such as notary and legal fees, as well as lost wages and other direct expenses often incurred from identity theft. The family plan also covers your spouse or domestic partner, as well as any of your children under the age of 25 who are full time students.

• Up to $30,000 to reimburse expenses.
In the event of a confirmed identity theft, you are eligible for expense reimbursement of up to $20,000 for the individual plan or $30,000 per family member in the family plan. Children represent one of every 20 identity theft victims today. ID Experts is extremely cost-effective in covering your whole family.

• Coverage for family fraud.
Unfortunately, identity theft among family members is becoming increasingly common. Especially given the associated increase in divorce and separation in today's families. Reimbursement insurance will often exclude situations of family fraud, for instance, the deadbeat dad that uses his child's identity to get "clean" credit. ID Experts FraudStop specifically includes coverage for these sad situations of family fraud.

• Coverage for lost wages.
In addition to out-of-pocket expenses, FraudStop reimbursement insurance covers your lost wages if you need to spend time away from work dealing with identity theft.

• Coverage for professional service fees.
Sometimes an ID theft recovery effort requires you to get professional services from lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, or criminal investigators. With FraudStop, these sometimes substantial fees will be eligible for reimbursement. The average identity theft restoration can cost up to $5,000, so don't leave yourself exposed.
